We start our trek after a ride to the small village of Imlil. Following the Mizane Valley, we pass through Aremd village and reach the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. Continuing east, we cross flood plains, walk on mule tracks, and climb rocky cliffs. Crossing the river, we reach the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, known for attracting tourists and pilgrims. The trail steadily climbs, leading us to the snowline and Toukbal Refuge (3206m), where we spend the night. About 4 to 5 hours of walking.
