The Ionian Islands, consisting of Zante, Corfu, Kefalonia, Lefkada, Ithaca, Paxoi and Kythira, lie to the west of the Greek mainland. This paradise is known for its pristine beaches, enchanting sea and lush Mediterranean landscape. As today is the day of arrival and we will not leave the port until after sunset (embarkation 17:00), you will have plenty of time to explore the wonders of Zante Island. If you have time to see more of the island, don't miss the opportunity to visit the Byzantine Museum and the National Marine Park in Laganás Bay. In the evening we will familiarize ourselves with our home for the next few days and settle in. We begin with dinner overlooking the sea as we depart for Agios Nikolaos.
Note: On the rare occasion that there are problems due to delays, there is a possibility that we will not set sail until Sunday morning.
