Guatemala offers an impressive diversity: from the mystical volcanoes and Lake Atitlán, to the ancient Mayan city of Tikal, an archaeological jewel in the middle of the jungle. Its vibrant culture is experienced in markets such as Chichicastenango and the charming colonial city of Antigua, famous for its baroque architecture.
Copán, in Honduras, is known for its Mayan ruins, particularly the intricate stelae and altars. Copán stands out as a ceremonial and artistic center of the Mayan civilization, with detailed inscriptions and a remarkable hieroglyphic staircase.
