Donegal Way, 8-day Self-guided walking
دونيجال · Glenties · أردارا · Glencolumbkille
نظرة عامة على الرحلة
The Donegal Way follows a network of long-distance walking routes, including the Bluestack Way from Donegal Town to Ardara and sections of Slí Cholmcille and Bealach na Gaeltachta. This is classic walking country, with small villages, quiet green roads and a stunning variety of landscapes across Northwest Donegal.
Located on Ireland’s wild Atlantic northwest, Donegal is a place of strong identity, shaped by dramatic coastlines, mountains and a deep sense of tradition. The route crosses the rugged Bluestack Mountains and continues along Slí Cholmcille towards Kilcar, offering views of indented coastlines, blanket bogs, glens, lakes and moorland. Around 30% of the route follows quiet tarred roads.
